Everyone should definitely pick up the latest Rollingstone magazine for the yumminess that is Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and fiancée Stephen Moyer. I will be looking for that next time i go shopping!
SOURCE Monsters&Critics got a sneak peek at a interview Anna Paquin did with Famous Magazine and spills on how long she hopes the show to last. Let's hope the people at HBO agree!
"Anna Paquin has hinted True Blood will continue until at least 2015. The star has told an Australian mag how she is looking forward to spending the next five years with the hit TV show’s cast and crew. The 28-year-old Oscar winner said: “I can’t think of a group of people that I would rather spend the next five years of my life with. It’s just a dream come true as an actor.” But the star is still mystified as to why people are so fascinated with vampires. “Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that they’re often very sexy – and kind of dangerous,” she said. The New Zealander also tells Famous magazine season three of the series is definitely the sexiest so far. Anna, who is engaged to True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, added: “It’s been full of weird, kinky vampire sex from the very beginning, so I’m kind of used to it by now." SOURCE This episode this evening had us glimpse a bit of who is in charge of the Vampires, beside the often shown Nan Flannaghan. So who is the "Authority"? A group of the eldest vampires maybe or perhaps something just stronger than the vampires? One of the aspects i really enjoyed in this episode was the bonding relationship of sire and child between Eric and Pam. Before this moment we never really saw them show any affection to one another. But clearly they do care about each other deeply. Let us hope we see more of that in the future. Because clearly Alexander Skarsgard and Kristin Bauer Van Straten have chemistry on the show. So Russell is mad and now become Eric's divisive scape goat for the V. So place your votes fans, who will win in a battle of blood? Eric of Russell? Let's hope our viking vamp wins it all the way.
So are Sookie and Bill going to remain together or will she once more learn she cannot trust Mr Compton? If things go how i think they will as a self proclaimed Book stan that i am (lol) Things will go arise once more for the couple. And once more, is Franklin dead? because last time we thought he was he came back to cause more grief for Tara. I mean Jason sure had a good shot, but who ever knows in the world of Bon Temps. It also seems that Sam Merlotte is not the 'pussy' man everyone thinks he is, he sure laid in a beat down on Calvin Norris. Guess that is the animal side of him coming out more in his human form. I wonder if the Hot Shot rednecks will get some kind of revenge? I also want to know what the new waitress Holly's new motive is with getting so close to Darlene. I'll admit it's been a while since i read the earlier books, so i've some what forgotten her role in the series. However, i will say i did love the ending of the episode with Russell playing anchor man. Mr Denis O'hare is quite talented balancing the darkness and humour to his character as clearly shown. Actor Sam Trammell aka Sam Merlotte collaborated with FunnyorDie.com to make a hilarious video on pizza delivery!
Actress Kristin Bauer Van Straten spoke to the online celebrity news site Pop Eater on how she keeps in shape with exercise and a vegetarian diet to play Pam on True Blood and her marriage with a musician.
"Kristin Bauer wasn't kidding when she told reporters earlier this year that "heads will roll" on 'True Blood.' But more dark secrets will be emerging about her character's relationship with Eric, as life-or-death consequences take center stage. "Vampires are hard to kill, but there are a lot more efforts in that direction and Pam will be right in the middle of it," Bauer tells PopEater. "Eric is put into a very dire situation with a huge physical and emotional conflict. We'll find out how deep Eric & Pam's relationship is, what her role is in his life and what lengths she'll go to defend and save him. When characters are really pushed to their limits and tested, we find out who they really are." And viewers haven't seen the last of Pam's midriff-baring latex outfits -- even if the costumes have taken a toll on the actress' body image. "I realized as long as I'm in this business, I'm going to be hungry," Bauer says of her dieting regimen. You were rocking a latex dress earlier this season. Either you have good genes or I need the number of your trainer. "[laughs] During that first wardrobe fitting, I knew I would have my midriff showing. I thought, 'I need to get serious' and started going to ab classes more regularly." Is there a lot of pressure to stay thin? "The other day I realized as long as I'm in this business, I'm going to be hungry. The camera really does add 10 pounds. I'm trying to stay under the weight I want to look like on TV. It's a good incentive to stay slim and is probably adding years to my life." Do you ever hit the gym with any of your co-stars? "No, but I ask around to see what everyone's routines are to get new ideas. Alexander Skarsgård runs to the gym in the middle of the day if we have a long break. And let me tell you, Joe [Manganiello] works out hard, but he said it was a big event that he was having carbs while on hiatus from filming. I'm vegetarian, so I live on carbs, but it's always an effort. After any wardrobe fitting, I hit the gym three times more than the week before." You tied the knot with Abri van Straten a year ago. How's married life? "It's great, but marriage is work. You have keep it fresh and sexy. It's all about taking the time to light the candles, look pretty and remember the romance. But with a busy schedule, it's hard. I'm trying to make sure I put notes around the house and buy him his favorite cookies. It's about the little things. It seems to be working." Do you two have plans to have kids anytime soon? "I had this crazy, busy life before I even met Abri, became a series regular on 'True Blood' and got more involved with environmental work. When I added those three things, my life got extra hectic. My husband and I are still getting to know each other, so adding kids right now -- especially with Pam and that wardrobe -- wouldn't work. I'd love to learn how to juggle it all. Maybe in a few years, we might move into that area." Honestly, you seem to have a pretty fulfilling life as it is. "It is so fulfilling and rich. I'd have to look up boredom in the dictionary to find out what that is. [laughs] I'd love to experience a little boredom before I add kids." Okay, before I let you go, I have to bring up your appearance on 'Seinfeld.' What's it like going down in history as the woman with "man hands." "It is so awesome. It was a wonderful show, and one of the most hysterical concepts I've ever heard. It was so fun working with Jerry [Seinfeld] ... and for the record, I don't have man hands." SOURCE This episode was very dark i found. Everyone was getting some blood lust out. One thing i did very much enjoy was seeing Sookie finally kick some ass and not be the damsel in distress, like she usually is. She got to wail out all her aggression on Miss Debbie Pelt and get some primal exercise with Bill. So does this mean she's forgiven and forgotten and they're now back together? And I'm sure this wasn't the last time we'll ever see Debbie, that's for sure. It's also pretty obvious that Alcide would like to be more than friends with Sookie, maybe sometime we'll see those two together. Also, what's up with the hot shot crew and the scent that Sam and Tommy were able to get a whiff of? If you've read the books you probably know. But then Alan Ball likes to surprise us every now and then doesn't he? I'm now wondering, how pissed off will Russell be now that Eric has exacted his revenge with the murder of the King's lover, Talbot. We know Russell is much older than Eric, but will Eric be able to take him on? Or knowing Eric he might use it to leverage some kind of deal with the King. Oh and our poor dear Tara, will she ever get a break? God knows she definitely wont be trusting anyone for a while. But it's nice to see she not on her suicidal kick and wants to very much live in this world. I wonder about what's going on with Jessica, will she be caught for the slaughtering of her recent meals? or just keep on trucking with being so rebellious. Can't wait to see ;-)
Miss Lorena already? She was definitely HBIC in Bill's world and HBO has put together a special little video for us Lorena/Bill lovers..
OK first off, i have to say that the death of Lorena was very weak. Alan Ball has disappointed me for the very first time. Lorena was such a crucial character with her relationship with Bill and her jealousy of Sookie. The death of his maker was so much better written in Charlaine Harris' novel 'Club Dead'. The pinning of women against each other and Sookie finally slaying her. In this episode, i don't know but it felt like we were watching an extra being killed so swiftly. I really think the fans deserved for than that. But then maybe I'm being too picky? I am very open to the different interpretations of the television show from novels. But the death of Bill's maker was just very boring to me. But let's move on before i make this review all about Lorena. I do very much enjoy Denis O'hare's portrayal of the King of Mississippi, having a vampire so old and powerful that doesn't follow vampire law is so much fun to watch and gives us lots of blood shed. Evan Rachel Wood is also magnificent as Queen Sophie Anne, playing an old creature in the body of a young woman so divinely. I love watching the kibitzing of the engaged vampire Queen and King. I wonder what Russell is going to get out of this binding of power? And poor poor magistrate, but then I'm glad they all finally came to the rescue of dear Pam. Kristin Bauer just oozes the sexuality and power Pam has through the TV screen and to have her gone would have left a little whole show if you ask me. Back in Bon Temps though it seems Sam is getting closer with his brother Tommy as he saved him from a dog fighting ring. Some parents they sure have. I wonder though if we will see Sookie forgive Bill for his affair with Lorena and his accidental attempt at murdering her. I know Alan Ball says they're soul mates, but come on a girl can only take so much! Guess we'll just have to wait and see next week.
Actress Kristin Bauer Van Straten (Pam) spoke about the rest of this season and what is going down for all the characters.
"LOS ANGELES — With nearly every major character on HBO's "True Blood" in some sort of life-threatening peril, season three of the Alan Ball-produced series has been an eye-opening blast. According to Kristin Bauer van Straten, who plays Eric Northman's vampire prodigy Pam, fans are about to learn a lot more. "(With) the whole vampire hierarchy, you're starting to see that it's a very tangled web now," Bauer told AccessHollywood.com of the show's latest revelations, which include Pam being held hostage by The Magister for helping deal vampire blood, and details of Eric's human Viking past and connection to now-Mississippi vampire King Russell Edgington. The July 25 episode, which saw Russell (Denis O'Hare) propose to Queen Sophie-Anne (Evan Rachel Wood), Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) prepare to die, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) attacked by Bill's maker and the unraveling of Eric's steely cool due to his worry over The Magister's very real threat to kill Pam was just an appetizer. "The king and the queen and she having to marry him, and (Eric) trying to save me, and Bill and Sookie and all of that is just going to continue to snowball," Bauer continued. "It's a dwindling spiral for all of us. Every script I read, I thought, 'How are they gonna get out of this?' Like heads are gonna roll on this thing, I'm sure." It's Pam's head that's currently on the chopping block, and Bauer revealed that fans will start to learn more about how the blonde became the first vampire Eric made. "Yeah, that's the whole rest of the season really," Bauer said of her story line. "Her drama and her tests are all related to her relationship to Eric. It was really fun." Not so fun was preparing for the last time Pam was featured on screen — the episode where she was being tortured (in true "True Blood" style wearing just a teeny, abdomen revealing top) at Fangtasia — by The Magister and his henchmen."
