Ok so the Season didn't exactly start off with a bang. Apparently we've skipped 12 months for the time that Sookie was in Fairy land and she's missed out on a lot of changes. I'm not really digging the show's take on the Fairies quite yet. It seems a little out there and almost evil right now. But I'll try to be patient and see where they go with it. With all the changes Sookie missed, first we got Jason who seems to be finally acting like a responsible man and taking care of the people of hot shot while maintaining his new career as a police officer. I have to say it's nice to see this new side of Jason! The fact that he cares more about other people and the law than getting laid is a nice change. But god knows what's going to happen now that he's been locked in a freezer lol. I have a feeling that will be the doing of Crystal returning with that red neck. One of the most drastic changes has to be Tara though, apparently now she's a paid fighter and likes women? I can't say that I blame her really, she was probably sick of being mens punching bags and decided to kick back. I'm sure it will only be inevitable until she hears something from Bon Temps that makes her return. LaFayette seems to be the only one keeping in touch with her and I think he's too distracted with Jesus. Who is all about introducing him to the world of witch craft and his coven. I definitely want to know who the girl is that is in the coven and has some sort of connection with Bill. Who now apparently is the King of Louisiana? So are they trying to make us believe he did away with Sophie Anne? I definitely hope not, I found Evan Rachel Wood's depiction of her very interesting and comical at times. I would be disappointed if she wasn't going to be on the show anymore. Or maybe he just black mailed or manipulated her into leaving the throne? I will very much like to see what happened there. While Bill has been distracted with his new duties I guess Eric took it upon himself to take ownership of Sookie's house and seems to think he owns her as well. I'm all for Sookie and Eric getting together this season but would prefer it if Eric wasn't taking her by force. Someone needs to slap him (preferably fierce Pam) and let him know she's a woman not a play toy. They did leave us hanging with him staking claim on her and we all know that won't go very far with Sookie so hopefully something stops his attitude this Season. At the end of the day it was an OK episode. Wasn't terribly exciting but also wasn't boring and set everything up for what we are to expect this Season.
