One thing for sure is Tara Thornton is not happy at all for LaFayette, Sookie ignoring her hatred of vampires and having her turn into one herself. And I honestly can't blame her! What were they thinking exactly? They put their want, need to have Tara in their lives a head of her feelings, rest in her life. Now she is the child vampire of Fangtasia's Pam, who doesn't seem to want to even deal with the maker role. But hopefully she'll be made to eventually as things seem to unravel at some point. I'm still praying in the back of my mind that this is all a screw up and Tara still has the chance to be a human again at some point. (I know I know naive, wishful thinking! But I want J.B and the twins damn it! lol)
Bill and Eric are really in the shitter for their slaying of Nan Flannagan in last years finale. But luckily this has given us the opportunity to meet the authority council and introduction of actor Christopher Meloni as an intense, fierce leader of the vampire group. Who was without a doubt excellent in the episode! Now of course they kept teasing us with the possible deaths of Eric and Bill. But really who believed that? I highly doubt the show would kick off two of their show runners that keep the viewers in lock down. Luckily for them they seem to be able to barter with their knowledge of Russell Edginton's uprising. Since the AVL are all about want to keep vampires mainstreaming in society, the last thing they need is a pissed off King running around killing humans etc as revenge for being put into cement for so long. I for one can not wait to see the return of Denis O'hare as the vicious, eccentric vampire King.
All in all the episode was enjoyable as usual even though the stories were slow going to taunt our palette for more..
