This episode felt a little too busy with so many things going on with different characters to try to squeeze into an hour. We had Terry facing off against Patrick about who died first to please the smoke demon. As prediction we lost the newbie and kept on Terry Bellefleur after he shoots his fellow soldier coldly in the head with his wife Arlene rooting him on. That definitely puts a dark, twisty spin on a marriage when you live, love and kill together. Lord knows this will just mess up poor Terry more with him already suffering from PTSD. Let's hope they get some couples therapy!
Sookie got caught up into what was happening with the shifters when it was discovered that old Sheriff Bud was behind the extremist group of anti-vamps, shifters that was going about killing people. Luckily Jason and Andy caught on in time to find Hoyt and Sookie being almost fed to the pigs. Pigs? Andy seems to always be caught up by pigs it seems doesn't it? Although Hoyt doesn't appear to be so lucky as Sookie when they were rescued. Will he die, recover in Hospital or will Jessica come about and we'll have another new baby vamp? I kind of hope for either of the first two, Can we not make the whole cast into vampires please?
Speaking of vampires, Tara seems to be getting quite along with her maker Pam in Fangtasia until it's discovered that the Authority have named a new Sheriff for Area 5 to take over for Eric Northman. And he's all about feeding on the humans freely as he wants. I can't wait to have Eric come back and kick his ass out of his throne! (At least I hope)
I don't know what is going on with Mr Bill Compton this Season. One moment he seems to be all about being buddies with Eric and the next he's team Lilith. Just as we thought Eric was going to get away with his drugged 'sister', Bill comes along to squish their plan with Salome. Come on Bill which team are you man! Hopefully poor Eric and his accomplice won't be suffering too badly in the next episode to come...
