But then again poor Andy has his hands full dealing with a pregnant Fairy needing him to protect her from the vamps going nuts. Not sure Holly will react too nicely to her boyfriend having a supernatural baby on the way. That tends to put a damper on the romance.
One thing I am sure about is that Mr Bill Compton has lost his damn mind. He's basically become a lost cult member that's desperately clinging to the whole notion, vampire lore of Lilith being the grand messiah of them all. I hope along the lines Bill get's a little too much power that back fires in his face or maybe that his loony display all Season turns out to have been a ploy all along to deal with Russell, Salome and the other vamps. If so i don't think poor Eric knows what to think or do as he keeps flip flopping from being supportive of this violent movement with his murdering of the Colonel to telling Bill, Nora they've lost their damn minds.
Although I am absolutely loving the twisted relationship between Russell and Steve. I really would like to see the end of Russell Edginton by next episode or for Season 6. One can only take a mad vampire killing Fairies crazily so much. Though it seems Sookie was a dummy for hiding with her fairy family only to lead Russell to an all you can eat 'fae buffet'. You'd think for that many fairies they would have a chance against him, but apparently 3000 yr old vampires seem to almost be invincible?
The writers definitely thought it was fun this episode to scare us with the possibly death of Jason Stackhouse in the promos only to relieve us with him coming out with his guns loaded. Thank god! I don't think I could deal with another vampified character. I can't wait to see Jason go into killing mode for the finale like he did with the maenad in Season 2. It's always entertaining to see him thinking he's a modern Rambo.
Even though I hated the killing, vamping of Tara in the beginning this year. I am enjoying her growing relationship she has with her maker the feisty Pam. And Pam taking the fall for Tara killing the goth vamp (who tried to take Eric's position) does show she does care deep down in side. Maybe Jessica is right and there is a possibility for a budding romance there?
I would hope to have most of everything dealt with by next weeks finale. But it's True Blood and the writers do like to make us squirm. So I'm guessing it will be one of those...
