I think last nights episode should have been called "Got Blood?" Because for the gore, horror loves there was definitely plenty of blood shed. The episode was all about action mostly and less dialogue and storyline. However, still plenty to enjoy. The whole time the episode has me wondering what the heck is up Eric Northmans sleeve? First he works for Sophie Anne and then the magistrate and now Russell. But then again isn't Eric usually working angles mostly for his own benefit? And was he speaking the truth when he was telling Sookie he didn't care about her? I highly doubt it, it's becoming more and more apparent that even though he denies it. He does in fact have growing feelings for our little telepath. . One of the castings i haven't really spoke about has been the casting of Even Rachel Wood as Queen Sophie Anne. At first i didn't think much of her, because to be honest i haven't seen a lot of the actresses work. But i must say she is playing the Queen divinely, exactly how i pictured her when i read Charlaines book series. I wonder id Sookie will ever find out the Queens connection to her cousin Hadley?. Who knows really. But it was nice to see Tara take out all her aggression on her vampire captor. So is Franklin Mott done for? or will he just have a really bad head ache when he wakes up? And i must confess it certainly was nice to see the sweet Alcide come to the rescue, hopefully he'll stop Lorena from having Sookie for dinner. But then would they really kill our our lead character? Nah, im sure Miss Stackhouse will recover as she always does.
