Although usually hate when Sam Merlotte isn't his sweet self and being violent. I was actually rooting for him in this whole episode. Even though Tommy was a huge pain in the ass, he was still Sam's only brother and family left. Plus Marcus has been so smug and possessive over Luna and their daughter that he was just irritating to have around. We got to see Alcide and Sam find him with Debbie at his house. As Sam brought out his super tough side and kick Marcus' butt but was still a good man and stopped himself before things go too far. But Alcide couldn't seem to control his wolf side and ended up killing the pack master in a rage. He finally had enough of Debbie and sent her packing with an official 'adjournment' from his life. Which with her taking V these days, she'll no doubt find some way to blame Sookie or get get into some other trouble in the last episode or for Season 5.
While the vampires leathered up to take down Marnie Jason had to show them the spell force field around Moon Goddess that kept anyone from entering.
Bill tried once again to come up with a deal for the witch for the release of Sookie by him and Eric giving up their own lives. Only to have Pam stop them with trying to fire a bazooka towards Marnie. Which did nothing but get her in real bad way with her maker Eric and get Jason horribly disfigured and injured. But Jessica ran to his rescue once again with her blood to heal him bringing them closer once more. How much blood can Jason take before she accidently turns him though? But then again Sookie has had her fair share of vampire blood and is still alive and kicking.
Though Jesus was the one to come to the rescue by doing a ritual to show his demon side to succeed in separating Antonia from Marnie. Bill and Eric took this opportunity to finally take down Marnie and her follower in a bloody scene that didn't seem to sit well with Sookie. Maybe she's had her fill of violence with the vampires and won't be with either of them? That would actually be refreshing to see her as a happy single woman next Season as opposed always relying on a relationship for her happiness.
One of the 'wtf' moments was probably Andy Bellefleur getting caught up with a fairy named Murella. Why on earth would a fairy want anything to do with him?
She must be up to something no good and plan to use Andy in some sort of way or another. Maybe with Sookie rejecting the fairy and their world they've decided to come up with another person to manipulated. And although Chris Bauer isn't an offensive looking man, I have to say it was a giant relief to my eyes not to have them show the sex scene between the two. A naked Andy with a younger woman just isn't something I care to see at this point on the show.
The episode seemed to rap up the witchly problems by the end to make us feel safe and sound. Only to have LaFayette and Jesus crawl comfy into bed and
have Marnie startle LaFayette awake and jump leap right into his body. So once again we have a spirit controlled LaFayette to deal with in the finale
and god knows what that will mean for everyone as I'm sure she isn't a happy camper about her plans being foiled and being shot to death by Bill.
And that trailer for the finale definitely has me scared for our favourite characters next week...
