The question of the episode is, does Eric really love and care for Sookie or does he just want to control her because of her delicious Fairy Blood? I personally believe he does love her or at least is starting to at this point. One person who seems to have got over Sookie in the last twelve months is definitely Bill Compton. Although we all know he will prolly still beg Sookie to take him back while he's having sex with a member of Jesus' coven of witches. Hopefully that will stop Sookie from forgiving him so easily like she has in the past. I know a lot of people love Sookie and Bill together, but i just found he treated her like a child and was constantly lying to manipulate her. Where as Eric likes her 'saucey' self and would let her be herself more.
I don't know who all the new shape shifters Sam is hanging out with these days. But I think it is good for him to be hanging around his own kind and being able to run freely as himself. Yet I still have a creeping feeling that maybe one of them has some sort of ulterior motive or nasty secret they are hiding. Perhaps Luna the shifter Sam to be developing feelings for? God knows Sam doesn't need another shady girlfriend or his half brother ruining things for him. Yeah we saw you Tommy getting all perked with interest over Luna in Merlottes.
I must say though one of the highlights for the episode to enjoy was seeing a flashback of Bill in the eighties punk scene and Stephen Moyer using a variation on his British accent! I think the flashes of history showing the vampires in different genre's and time is always fun to watch. The show's make-up artists and stylists must love developing those scenes for sure.
I think some of the mini drama's going on in Bon Temps are going to just get bigger and bigger by the end. With Arlene so paranoid that her new baby is going to be evil like his biological father. Let alone keeping that a secret will
end up exploding eventually. Plus, how Andy the now the sheriff has a developed a nasty V addiction this season will
either have him getting clean or going to too far on a high.
And anyone else pissed that Bill killed Sophie Anne?! Ugh he is so two-faced I can't stand it. (sorry Stephen!)
I loved Evan Rachel Wood on the show, she brought so much character to the Louisiana Queen. I'll pray that they'll
bring her back some way in flash backs at least.
But I am awaiting for anticipation to see the next episode and getting to see new amnesiac Eric! Those witches are
a lot stronger than they look to pull something like that. I can't wait to see what Sookie thinks of this new
side of him.
