So Sookie is just a bottle full of power that will eventually run out? That doesn't really make any sense to me and why the hell would she want to lose it? It's probably the only reason she's survived so much over the last Seasons is due to her powers. But hopefully after a while she'll stop taking them for granted and realize she needs them. At least one can only hope.
Just when we thought Terry and Patrick were going to be burned to a crisp we discover this fire demon doesn't just want to kill them easy but likes taunting them with it until they may go nuts. For some reason I feel like Patrick isn't what he seems and might have some kind of link to the demon audience and Terry doesn't know. He just doesn't seem as stressed, strung out as Terry having something hunting you til death do they part.
This episode showed one of my favourite things, which was showing a small part of Pam that's still somewhat soft, caring with Tara dealing with her Mother cutting her out of life now that she's a vampire. Now that Pam is a maker will we keep seeing this different side of her tutoring, mothering Tara? Even though I LOVE feisty, bitchy Pam I do hope we do see more of her human side of her once in a blue moon to keep us on our toes.
Poor Lafayette went to Jesus' family for help to deal with his sudden powers from his lover only to be tied down and have his lips stitched together for some kind of crazy voodoo stuff. That with the head of Jesus on the mantle gave me a huge amount of the icks. Just when we thought maybe LaFayette was going to be killed off we get the startle of Jesus' Grandfather being stabbed to death by his pregnant lover. Is she on the good side to help LaFayette or just looking out for herself to only bring him into other stranger freaky stuff? I'm very curious to see on the next episode.
Quite possibly the best part of the episode was seeing all the vampires get high as a kite on Lilith's old blood vial. Even though Russell is a pure fiend, Denis O'hare brings lots of entertainment to the show to enjoy. They all went on a very "bloody" killing spree that I think they may regret in the morning though. Or at least some what with more conscious Eric and Bill among them. I always love the show when it brings on a little dark comedy to make us laugh though. Probably why I love the show so much and hope to see some more this Season..
The most shocking thing of the night for me though was that HBO, True Blood writers really went for it with the resurrection of Lilith in all her bloody glory. We've seen some naked parts all along with the starting of the series but they gave us an eye full all stops this time. Not sure if it was a good shocking turn for story line or maybe seemed a little eager to just get the viewers in for those who get their jollies from that sort of thing. I guess we shall see..
