It's that time of year again. Time to vote in Spike Tv's Scream awards once again. So go vote for True Blood now!
VOTE HERE Actor Sam Trammell spoke to NY Mag on what's going on with Mr Merlotte this Season along with Dexter and aliens.
"Congratulations on completing season four. What was that wrap party like? This year a lot of the cast had already gone off to their respective countries. But last year was crazier. There are definitely people on the show that like to have a good time. [Laughs.] Me, one of the writers, [Alexander] Skarsgard, and [Ryan] Kwanten — we're not shy of doing shots, let’s put it that way. You know Kwanten … both those guys … I don't wanna speak out of turn, but they probably wouldn't mind. They drink like champions? Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kwanten, yeah — for sure. You grew up for a bit in Louisiana. Do you think the accents on the show are, you know, overblown? I think everyone does a really good job. When you talk about the Louisiana accent, the people in the north have different accents than the people in Lafayette, which are a little more Cajun. Everyone sounds a little bit different, but everyone sounds a little bit different in the south. That was very diplomatic of you. [Laughs loudly.] This season, we’re getting the feeling Sam just can’t trust his brother, Tommy. True? [There’s] a huge deception and a huge violation of trust. Tommy is definitely in deep water. He's got Maxine [Hoyt’s overbearing mom], but Tommy's running out of friends in town. And Tommy's trying to cheat Maxine out of her land, so he's really burning a lot of bridges right now. Will he outright turn evil? I don't know if I can really answer that specifically. We're going to find out what price you pay when you shape-shift. That's going to be a big issue. There's a lot of mess that Tommy has already created that I have to clean up, and there's potentially a lot more mess. He's kind of a loose cannon. And what of Sam’s new relationship with Luna? Luna has a very scary ex-husband and father to her child [and a werewolf]. Sam is going to have a major conflict with the werewolves. What if Sam just shape-shifted into a werewolf? [Long pause.] I wonder if I could. Probably so. I like that. Continue Interview & Source Yay! We're happy to announce that True Blood has gotten two nominations for next years People's Choice Awards!
1)Favourite Sci/Fantasy show 2)Favourite Television Obsession. We're pleased once again to see our favourite tv show recognized some what in the Award field. Although we feel the writers, actors deserve to be nominated as well. Because we all know they don't just translate Charlaine Harris' novels straight to script for the series and the amount of work and energy the actors put into their roles deserves some appreciation. But make sure you all vote for their nominations so we can see some of the cast accept those awards! VOTE HERE If you tuned into Spike's 2010 Scream awards then you know Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard and True Blood all won awards! And i have to say i loved Alexander's award speech about how naughty Eric is and yet so lovable.
"True Blood" wins for Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin Can vampire Bill please magically adopt the adorable haircut that Stephen Moyer was sporting at tonight's Scream Awards? Because I would argue that he (heresy!) even outshone Alexander Skarsgård on the adorable scale. He won his award for that crazy sex scene Bill and Lorena had during season three. You know the one I'm talking about. "I don't know what all the fuss is about, doesn't everyone have sex like that?" he joked. Anna Paquin had a sexy lead-in in the form of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. "I love our fans so much," Anna said. "'True Blood' is the best job I've ever gotten to work on, and it would be nothing without being able to be supported by the amazing fans we have." Oh, and then the camera cut to ASkars. This is why we love the Scream Awards." SOURCE So the Night-time Emmy's are going to air this coming week and EW has the inside scoop on who will be presenting.
