about that. Just adding perhaps another rift into the relationship of Jessica and Hoyt. Those two just can't seem to catch a break at all. But then again, isn't all love complicated and dramatic?
Usually I don't like the newbies on shows and pretty much discount them in the scheme of things or ignore their existence with my favourites. But I do enjoy the new relationship of Sam and his fellow shifter Luna. A side from Sam dating something he has a lot in common with, the two actors have a really good chemistry with each other. It's also nice to see a couple that isn't all about the sex! They're actually doing some conventional dating and Luna's daughter seems to have taken closely to good old Sam. Although it seems like Luna's ex werewolf baby daddy might come along and complicate things. Since we all know things are never so simple in Bon Temps.
Another nice thing was seeing Alcide helping Sookie deal with amnesiac Eric. But even though Debbie acted like she was OK about their relationship, you could see that a tiny part of her was still jealous. I wouldn't be surprised if the old angry Debbie Pelt popped up later on as Alcide and Sookie keep getting closer. Especially with Alcide acting a bit jealous of Eric living with Sookie now.
Now onto my favourite part of the Episode! I have to say Alexander Skarsgard played a fantastic 'drunk' Eric on fairy blood. One thing I always enjoy about the show is the adding of tiny bits of humour into dark storylines. Seeing Eric face plant and then run around like a hyperactive child was very amusing to say the least. And I even think it made Sookie smile a little bit. We also got very close to a kiss between the two, I'm sure as with me a lot of the fans were yelling 'KISS!' at that moment. But as usual with TV shows they interrupted it to tease us for a build up of perhaps it finally happening once and for all. Let's keep our fingers crossed about that!
With lead witch Marnie and the gang trying to figure out how they did the spell. (Or else as Pam said she'll eat, fuck and kill them if they don't fix her maker) It seems the bond only grew strong with Marnie and the witch entity from the past. Maybe a witch from the past that Eric pissed off? I think perhaps he had something to do with her burning at the cross so horribly long ago and this is her revenge?
Poor Pam was trying so hard to get them all to help Eric only to have herself magically attacked. That was definitely some fantastic make up affects going on. Although it did make my stomach turn just a bit. Who knows how badly Pam is going to look next episode since the spell seemed to be about her 'true dead self' I'm guessing basically a nasty decomposed corpse. Gross. Leaving us on that moment got the stomach turning and the mind a racing for the next
episode I have to say.
