So I guess so far we've found out that Jason isn't going to become a were panther from his traumatic experience in Hot Shot. Maybe the show has decided to have that happen much later on or not have that happen to Jason at all. But there is definitely some chemistry between him and Jessica since he drank her blood. I wouldn't mind those two getting together since her and Hoyt are such a big mess these days. But poor Jason doesn't want to betray his best friend, but we know it will eventually happen since he can never really refuse a pretty girl. Even if she is a vampire and Hoyt's girl.
At first I thought the witches being anti-vampire was just some stupid angst going on. But in this episode they really flushed out and showed us truly why the spirit of Antonia despises them, You can't really blame her at all, having been tortured, raped and fed off by vampires hiding in the guise of religion. That is some very dark stuff right there and Marnie seems to be totally controlled by her now and determined to control all the vampires to go into the sun to perish.
i have a feel we will see a couple casualties when that happens, but Bill and Eric will be safe atleast hopefully.
Jesus and LaFayette reached his grandfather in Mexico to have such a dark greeting. At first I thought perhaps Jesus was going to die by that snake bite. But his Grandfather seemed to release some kind of spirit into LaFayette that made him able to heal his boyfriend. Perhaps this spirit will come in handy to stop the battle of the witches against the vampires? Either way there was some really dark 'juju' going on there. I'm guessing LaFayette has a lot more potential and powers with in him that he's just never tapped into. So we will see a new side and strength within his character from now.
I feel bad for poor Tara, she's always getting the wrong end of the stick when it comes to vampires. She managed to find herself a relationship that she was actually comfortable in and Pam has popped up to destroy it. Pam will be getting her revenge on the group that gave her maker amnesia and made her body become a rotting corpse. It looks like it will be Tara's girlfriend who will be killed next episode. Yet another one of her lovers murdered, which will just feed her anger towards the world. Hopefully she won't take it out on innocent Eric coming up.
And the best part of the episode was the high drama of Bill's jealously against Eric and Sookie. He took Eric out to be killed for frivolous reasons thinking he could stop their relationship. But in the end he finally grew a conscience and let Eric go to be with Sookie. The perfect ending to the episode was seeing Eric and Sookie finally get together after everything which was such a beautiful and tender scene with them. Hopefully this blissful relationship will last a bit before the shit hits the fan with the witches. But we all know happiness never lasts too long in their world...
